System requirements & preparation

Before installing GCafe Billing, check the hardware and prepare the café network with the list below so the server and client PCs stay connected reliably.

These are minimums; a faster PC makes the management screen and reports quicker.

Preparation

  • Installers: download from hubservices.vn, under Tải phần mềm › Phần mềm quản lý phòng máy (Downloads › Café management software). There are two files: gcafeserver.exe for the server and gcafeclient.exe for client PCs.
  • Static IP for the server: client PCs find the server by its IP address, so it must not change. See step 1 of Install on the server.
  • Data folder: pick a drive other than the system drive, for example E:\Data_GCafe.
  • LAN: server and client PCs on the same subnet, with no firewall blocking traffic between them.

💡 Tip: To power on client PCs remotely, their motherboards must support "Wake on LAN" and have it enabled in the BIOS.
