Client PC status and how time is charged
The Tình trạng (status) column on the Client PCs tab tells you whether a PC is connected to the server, and decides whether its time is charged.
Status | Meaning | Charging |
|---|---|---|
ONLINE | The client PC is connected to the server. | While in use, the server adds one minute of usage every minute. |
AVAILABLE | The PC is on and connected, but nobody is signed in. | Not charged. |
WARNING | The server temporarily lost the signal from the PC. | GCafe Billing checks automatically: if the PC is off, nothing is added; if it is still on, it repairs the connection. |
DISCONNECT (red) | The PC lost its connection or is turned off. | Not charged until the PC is back on and reconnected. |
A client PC keeps showing DISCONNECT — what should I do?
- Check the PC is on, the network cable is plugged in and the switch light is on.
- Check the client PC can ping the server IP.
- Check the firewall / antivirus on the client PC does not block GCafe Billing.
- If the server IP changed, reinstall the client with the new IP (see Install on client PCs).
